This fast growing UK company has leading brands within the consumer durables sector. With several household name brands, there head offices are in Great Manchester and they have support offices in the far East.
As Assistant Brand Manager for two of the core brands you will report directly into a Senior Brand Manager and sits within a team of 12. The role offers full exposure to all aspects of the marketing mix including NPD, packaging development, market analysis as well as promotional and advertising activity.
The role will work closely with the technical team championing the consumers view and ensuring our product development is cutting edge. Strong analytical skills are necessary as well as the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The Assistant Brand Manager will work cross functionally with the design, technical, communications and sales teams as well as support the Senior Product Manager. You will be responsible for managing the new product development process of products developed either internally or by Far East Suppliers. Managing pricing, Co-ordinating retailer presentations and presenting to retailers, providing monthly market analysis, assisting in the development of packaging, as well as working closely with sales teams on product promotional activity and website management.
In order to be considered for this role you must already have gained experience in a Product/Brand focussed marketing role within a consumer durables environment and be looking to take your next step in a similar environment!
